Tribute to Malcolm Tait, 1972 - 2026

Malcolm's care for the places that people and our more than human neighbours call home has been so important. He is a huge loss, but the efforts he made to call attention to creating good policy that would protect and improve how we can all live will continue to generate positive change. Walking in Clayton West last year I was struck by the deep knowledge he had of the nature we encountered - as a result I think of him as super knowledgeable, but always wearing that knowledge gently. What came over when in his company was a warm, generous person with real curiosity about the world we inhabit and a concern for how we might all do better to care for it. Rest peacefully, Malcolm. You are missed by those fortunate to know you. Jo x
